Customer was looking to have a dining table and bench made from reclaimed pine boards salvaged from an old garage taken down on the property. Starting with the 2″ thick rough pieces, we were able to salvage enough usable length for both the table and bench. After pulling all exposing nails and dimensioning the boards, they were joined to create the main top and bench. Breadboard ends were then made for the table. After filling the larger holes with epoxy, the pieces were stained a dark walnut color and finished with a satin urethane topcoat. The tops were attached to steel X-frame bases the customer already had on hand.
